About our Content Production Team
We’re here to make a difference in the lives of learners, and we’re doing that by making a difference in how content is created. In other words, we’ve completely changed the process for creating core curriculum resources (aka textbooks). While the old process involved outsourcing to a handful of educators to author content under a royalty agreement, we instead choose to bring the whole process in-house by hiring a team of amazing teachers, subject matter experts, production gurus, and more to bring each title to life. Creating the best resources isn’t our side job, it’s our sole focus, and the results speak for themselves: our resources have gained leading market share positions for every title we’ve produced to date.
Over the next 3 years, starting right now, we’re embarking on the most ambitious content build in Australian education history, and everything we do is getting more exciting, creative, and complex by the day. We are rapidly scaling our content production to cover more subjects, more curriculums, and more states, which opens up the exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to join our team and contribute to driving forward our expansion.
About the Program Manager role
Edrolo’s Content Production Team is stacked with problem solvers of the highest calibre. For years our team has successfully ‘done it all’, including project managing their publications from ideation to delivery. It’s time to bring in an expert Program Manager to level up how we run our production process – and that’s where you come in.
This role is the first of its kind at Edrolo, and the successful candidate will lead the development and enhancement of all of our project & program management practices with the ambition to turn our content production machine into a smooth-running thing of beauty.
You will work directly with the senior leadership team within Content Production, plus stakeholders across the company, to ensure that delivery schedules are well mapped, managed tightly, and communicated extremely effectively.
Key responsibilities
Our Content Production Team produces both digital and print resources. You will work with our curriculum leads to tighten up processes within the team as well as how the team engages with external stakeholders. This includes:
- Turning our ambitious product strategy into a realistic plan for delivery;
- Enhancing existing workflows and software;
- Introducing new workflows and software to manage the production process better;
- Supporting production progress reporting across the company;
- Providing mentorship and coaching to various people in the company with project management responsibilities

- You’re a program management superstar with experience to back it up. Your experience can be from any industry – what we want to see is that you can come into Edrolo’s production process and be the person to tighten it up, grow us to the next level, get the right processes in place, support project management upskilling for individuals, and ultimately ensure that, as we scale, our content creation works more and more seamlessly and effectively over time.
- You’re an outstanding communicator and love engaging with multiple stakeholders to achieve positive results
- You pride yourself on your attention to detail and love nothing more than spinning many plates with aplomb!
- You have strong planning and project management skills including the Gantt / spreadsheet prowess to manage our work successfully (including knowing how and when to move said spreadsheet into different software!)
If you have experience in content production, be that digital or print production, that’s fantastic but not necessary – we want you to apply no matter your industry background.
