Summary
Edrolo’s Business Development Managers will be responsible for identifying and actioning new opportunities to expand the number of products that our existing clients subscribe to, and to build successful relationships with new partner schools. Working closely with Client Success Managers, BDMs will devise tactics and strategies to generate leads that result in increased sales of Edrolo’s Junior and Senior resources within Edrolo’s existing clients. In addition, the BDM role is focused on winning new partner schools as clients.
BDMs will ensure Edrolo grows the number of partner schools we are working with and will be focused on winning new business opportunities within our existing client portfolio and ensuring that partner schools are set up for long term effective use of Edrolo products.
Summary of responsibilities
- Partner with Client Success Managers to identify, actively source, and convert new sales opportunities in the client school database to hit sales targets
- Actively sourcing and converting new business opportunities
- Generate leads and build relationships with client schools, organising a work schedule that balances proactive/reactive work, cold calling, and follow up on existing potential sales
- Schedule pitch meetings with existing clients, ensuring that weekly, monthly and annual key performance indicators are met and exceeded
- Pitch Edrolo’s resources to existing client schools in order to expand their subscription
- Pitch Edrolo’s resources to prospect schools in order to expand their subscription
- Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos including effective objection handling
- Effectively manage the Edrolo sales cycle from pitch meetings, trials (where needed), through to close for Junior and Senior TM and textbook resources in accordance with the sales campaigns calendar
- Determine in each case the appropriate sales strategy to follow (pitch->win, pitch-> trial, etc)
- Creation, enhancement, and facilitation of effective sales presentations and proposals to Edrolo’s partner schools and to prospect schools
- Meet and exceed individual sales/upgrade targets through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies/tactics
- Attend and present at network and industry-related events and conferences to ensure that Edrolo is represented professionally and new business opportunities are identified
- Analyse and report on sales pipelines to identify opportunities and risks to achieving revenue targets, course correcting as necessary
- Collaborate effectively with other teams across the company to provide the critical voice of customer feedback, identify areas for improvement, and share best practices from your Client portfolio
- Contribute to, and lead key projects within, Edrolo’s Client Team to increase our efficiency and impact
